An orientation program was conducted by Reliance Trends in association with Chitkara University for applicants of Degree Apprentice in BBA Retail Operations. Applicants of this course will work as an apprentice in Reliance Trends while pursuing their degree in BBA Retail Operations outcome of which would be employment at supervisory cadre after completion of course.

RASCI is the only Sector Skill Council identified to drive industry demand-driven skilling initiatives for women in Maharashtra state. This is being done through Maharashtra State Skills Development Society (MSSDS) with an intent to create high social impact. RASCI has exceeded the target of pilot batches rolled out by mobilizing over 250 candidates for training.
RASCI amongst the few SSCs to have successfully launched the framework and curriculum for Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) program in Retail Operations in the State of Himachal Pradesh. This framework and curriculum is aligned to University Grants Commission (UGC) with multiple entry and exit options such as Diploma/Advanced Diploma under the NSQF. RASCI was amongst the 7 SSC’s invited for signing the MOU with Ministry of External Affairs to implement Pravasi Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PKVY). This marks a milestone for Indian Workforce seeking overseas employment in Retail. Through this initiative, a framework to provide NSQF-aligned skills training will be institutionalized for Indians who aspire overseas career opportunities.
Courseware for 3 Retail QPs launched by Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy. With the help of this courseware, the learners will be equipped with the necessary knowledge to carry out the requisite job roles and functions effectively in any retail environment.
RASCI has pioneered the development and institutionalization of a robust and scalable Training of Trainers (TOT) and Training of Assessors (TOA) and Trainer/Teacher/Assessor Certification process. This was done to ensure enhancement of training quality and service delivery. Currently, RASCI has trained over 1000 trainers and teachers and certified over 460 assessors.
