We appreciate your stated interest in partnering with RASCI to build the skill ecosystem for retail.
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) funded partner is auto eligible hence need not affiliate with Sector Skill Council for the scheme under discussion.
All institutions, government or private (who, during the last two years, have been selected by any State Government or any Ministry of the Government of India to implement any Government funded or sponsored Scheme), shall be deemed to be part of the approved list of training providers under this Scheme.
Any other public or private training partner who has done any government project in the last 2 years would need to furnish proof and an undertaking of alignment with QP & NOS which would be validated by the respective SSC post which the training partner would be eligible.
Other training partners public or private that do not fall in either of the above categories would need to affiliate with the respective SSCs as per the regular process.

In General (other than the STAR Scheme):
All NSDC/ Govt Training providers/ non – NSDC funded partners but have to go through the standard affiliation process to deliver RASCI affiliated training programs for Skilling students/up skilling of professionals in organisations till 2022 and beyond.
For Category 1/Category 2
* No Compliance & Process Improvement Check.
For Category 3
* Industry experts will visit the centres you wish to affiliate for Compliance & Process Improvement Check.
* You may start aligning your curriculum and courseware around the same. Courseware endorsement is not mandatory from the Skill Council, but if you feel the need for it, please read the RASCI Affiliation Protocol Document Ver 2.1 which specifies the same at a cost.
* If you need support on NOS based curriculum & content development, we can assist you with locating competent third party content providers to source/develop/co-develop curriculum & content endorsed by the Skill Council.

For Category 1/Category 2
You can orient your trainers in-house for a certain level (L1, L2, ....L10) in a specific occupation (e.g. Store Operations, Supply Chain Management, etc.). You would be assisted with trainer and batch dimensioning to ensure breakeven from 1st year of operations itself.
For Category 3
Your trainers will be certified by RASCI for a certain level (L1, L2, ....L10) in a specific occupation (e.g. Store Operations, Supply Chain Management, etc.). You would be assisted with trainer and batch dimensioning to ensure breakeven from 1st year of operations itself.

We follow an AAA (Application, Affiliation & Authorization) principle to ensure assured number of learners’ throughput from all Vocational Training Providers (VTPs).
Without Train the Trainer (TTT) of at least one trainer, training delivery is not possible and the Skill Council has a mandate to skill 8.08 million retail professionals [Skilling with VTP (Vocational Training Provider)/SEB (State Education Boards)/CBSE/NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling); Upskilling with Retail Organisations] by 2022.
The Authorization (TTT) for remaining levels is at the Training Partner’s interest but we recommend for better return of investment (ROI) on the Retail Lab (which is common on L1-L4) and the overheads will be better distributed on the physical infrastructure (building, recurring cost, etc. at the VTP).
Curriculum validation is also optional.
